I am a senior in Saybrook College majoring in Psychology. As a Mexican of Japanese descent who moved to the US in 1998 I have grown up immersed in a mixture of cultures. I am passionate about Latin America and LASO has given me the opportunity to connect with those who share this interest. In addition to LASO I have been active in Accent, the undergraduate multilingual magazine at Yale, and the Yale Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity. I am very interested in marketing, having worked this past summer at Time Inc in the digital marketing and business development areas. I also love to write, paint, travel, and eat good food!

I am a senior from Stamford, CT majoring in Global Affairs, specifically following the International Development track. I’m also pre-med, and one of my biggest interests at Yale has been global health. Apart from my academics - and LASO, of course - I am a Davenport FroCo, a FOOT leader, a goalie for the women’s club lacrosse team, and a volunteer Spanish interpreter at the HAVEN Free Clinic.

I am a sophomore from New York City hoping to major in History or Ethics, Politics, and Economics. Both of my parents are from Argentina, and growing up I lived part of the time in Buenos Aires. I am passionate about Latin American history, politics, and literature, and am looking forward to increase LASO’s presence on Yale’s campus. On my spare time I enjoy tennis, playing the piano, and tutoring students in New Haven public schools.
